It is with profound dismay and deep emotion that the AJU has learned about the kidnapping in Tripoli (Libya) of our Head Sports Director Mr Nabil ELALEM.
The AJU keeps big hope that the kidnappers can release him as soon as possible so as to join his family and at the same time to allow him to accompany the members of his sports delegation that is taking part to the XXX Olympiad of London in his position as president of the Libyan Olympic Committee. In these painful circumstances we would like to reassure his family and his close relatives of our profound sympathy and devout thoughts. The AJU will do all that is in its power to alert and sensitize the public opinion and all the entities invested with power in the prospects that Mr ELALEM is freed.
